Historically, Ms. Edith Iverson leased storage space on this property to her friends and local companies and individuals since 2005. Ms. Iverson’s son Eric (Maklezow) served as First Mate aboard Tall Ship Red Witch (in Kenosha) from 2017 to 2018. Unfortunately, tragedy struck and unexpectedly passed. Capt. Andrew Sadock, captain and owner of Tall Ship Red Witch had been storing the Tall Ship Red Witch Trolley (“Road Witch”!) at Ms. Iverson’s storage facility. The 2020 boating season was all but cancelled by the Coronavirus Pandemic and so badly hurt the financial condition of Tall Ship Red Witch. As such Ms. Iverson — a very kind soul who was close to retirement — offered to sell the storage facility to Capt. Sadock, to help him earn a humble living — to help him to sustain Tall Ship Red Witch in Kenosha, her new homeport (after leaving Chicago in 2015).
